Lowell Milken and Arne Duncan Congratulate a Chicago Milken Educator

At Las Casas Occupational High School in Chicago, Lowell is joined by (L-R) Arne Duncan, former CEO of Chicago Public Schools (currently U.S. Secretary of Education); Secretary of Illinois State Board of Education Dr. Vinni Hall; MFF Trustee Rosey Grier; and Daphne Whitington—English teacher and recipient of a $25,000 Milken Educator Award.

Daphne's goal is "to create adults who are awake to the world and who do not have to struggle for material survival."
