Kendra Randle (IN '23)
Executive Principal, Adelante Schools’ Emma Donnan Campus | Indianapolis, IN
As executive principal at Adelante Schools’ Emma Donnan Campus in Indianapolis, Kendra Randle is known to step in to teach classes during school vacancies and supports classroom teachers by modeling best practices and conducting observations and evaluations. She received a Milken Educator Award on November 8, 2023.
Randle helped implement a data-driven change plan for elementary students to increase growth in foundational literacy, which incorporated the use of high-quality curriculum for K-3 students, while providing teachers with opportunities to receive feedback on their instructional strategies. She helps build a positive school culture by leading “Meeting of the Minds” for the K-6 population and coordinating family council meetings. Randle was chosen for the Relay Graduate School of Education’s National Principal Academy Fellowship, participated in the school’s Leverage Leadership Institute, and connects with the community through her work with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. – Alpha Mu Omega Chapter and community theatre.
Randle earned a Bachelor of Arts in teaching, elementary education, from Kentucky State University in 2012, and a Master of Arts in education from Union University in 2017.
